📢 Swell Seawolf to Barracuda
Swell’s next big upgrade, Barracuda, is scheduled for release early 2024, and will create a primary market for swETH – enabling the redemption of swETH for ETH through the Swell app at the underlying rate.
🔄 Buy swETH using Paraswap
We have introduced a new feature to the dApp that links to ParaSwap, where you can buy swETH at a discounted price on the secondary market.
Note: The 20 pearls per 1 swETH minting bonus does not apply when you buy swETH on the secondary market.
💻 Swell dApp Wallet Connect Upgrade
We've added Blocknative’s Web3 Onboard that supports:
- 35+ wallets
- Multiple chains including Layer 2s
- WalletConnect v1 and v2
🐰 Swell Supports Launch of Liquis
Swell is proud to support the launch of new Bunni liquid locker: Liquis.
As a liquid wrapper for veLIT, Liquis provides boosted oLIT emissions for swETH liquidity providers, without them needing to hold veLIT.
🎉 swETH Joins the safETH Index
Asymmetry Finance has officially integrated Swell’s LST, swETH, into the safETH index.
Swell and Asymmetry Finance share a commitment to streamlining the staking experience, creating deep onchain liquidity, and decentralizing Ethereum.

Our new swETH-bbaWETH pool on Pendle is now live.
Simply zap out of the old pool to swETH, then zap in to receive Pendle yield and redirected bribes from the old Pendle Aura pool.

Proposal: Add swETH as Collateral to Generate $R
Swell is on the verge of integrating with Raft, an up-and-coming CDP protocol that lets you generate stablecoin R by depositing liquid staking tokens as collateral.
We have posted a proposal on the forum to add swETH as collateral for minting R.
