🤿 The Aquanauts are growing in number
You can now join us on our journey towards the Swell launch, and get rewarded for your contributions.
In our AMA last week, we welcomed the first Divers to our Discord roles program, which lets you earn Discord roles by completing different tasks.
Next up, tomorrow's AMA will see us open submissions for two new roles: Navigators and Submariners.

🔍 Smart contract audit commences
Leading security firm Sigma Prime has officially started auditing Swell Network's smart contracts. This is expected to take two to three weeks and will set the stage for a secure Guarded Launch.
🧪Goerli testnet takes us one step closer to Shanghai
The final hurdle before Shanghai has now been cleared as the Shapella network upgrade was activated on Goerli. We did not expect any disruption, but were monitoring the impact closely with withdrawals to come into effect for existing validators on implementation of Shanghai.
Following this successful upgrade, we are now expecting to enable staking on Goerli as early as next week.
📅 Guarded launch set for early April
Assuming all goes well with the smart contract audit and internal testing, the guarded launch will now take place in early April.
This guarded launch is the first phase of making Swell public, and precedes a fully open and permissionless Swell!
