Are you a talented content creator or enthusiastic community member?
We're inviting the most active and influential voices in DeFi to help uplift Swell's vision in our first ever Community Council.
Community Council members will play a key role in amplifying Swell's presence in the DeFi ecosystem, and educating the Ethereum community about Swell.
Requirements
All Community Council members will be united by their deep knowledge of DeFi, commitment to the principles of Ethereum, and alignment with Swell.
Aside from that, each Council member will have their own unique experience and expertise in community building; whether that be through moderation, meme creation, video production, writing epic tweet threads — or any other activities that you think are essential to building a strong DeFi community.
Ideally, all members will have skills that fit into one or more of the following categories:
Content creation
Do you know your way around Crypto Twitter? Can you craft tweets, threads or blog posts or other written content that educates and inspires? Do you already have an audience of dedicated DeFi enthusiasts? If any of these apply to you, then please submit your application.
Graphic and video production
Memes, YouTube videos, infographics and more — if you can create visual content to showcase Swell across different social media channels, then your skills are needed in the Community Council.
Community building
Answering questions in the Discord, running community events, and supporting new members, are all valuable community-building activities.
If your area of expertise doesn't fit into one of these categories. Please apply with an explanation of how your skill set applies to community-building.
Responsibilities
- Staying up-to-date on developments at Swell; including events and product launches.
- Advocating for Swell in the DeFi community, with the assistance of core contributors.
- Providing monthly updates on your activity.
Renumeration
- Negotiable on a direct basis commensurate with experience and expectations.
- Can involve cash and token incentives.
Join the Community Council
- Submit an application via this Google Form before June 1st, 2023. Applications may close early in the event of high volume.
- Anonymous applicants are welcome to apply under a pseudonymous name.
- Membership is limited and the final membership composition will be determined at the discretion of the DAO.
